Mowing the Yard

In June of 2025 I sort of became obsessed with our yard.
I wanted this super awesome, flat, short, green lawn; almost like a golf green.
I got a reel mower from your uncle Brenden Odom (your dad’s brother) for Father’s Day in 2025. I’ve been mowing our lawn about 3-4 times a week every since.
On the side of our house is a walkway leading to the backyard. W decided to create a walkway beside the house with small black rocks and some flagstone pavers. You LOVED this area, and loved playing with the rocks. You would spend lots of time with your toy trucks and cars… and throwing the rocks.
Your grandma and I would spend a lot of time sweeping and blowing these small black pebbles off the flagstone pavers.
Now, every time I walk beside the house and I see rocks on the flagstone, I think of you and how much you loved this area.
